And grape-stomping is GO!
Showing the youth how it’s done
The TV crews were obviously keen.
I suspect this is going to turn into chacha.
And finally, a bit of dancing. With grapes.
Cat lady got involved.
Hitching a ride.
A spot of falconry
Watching a theatre performance.
Making churchikela
Of course, it’s not as if there’s a risk of a churchikela shortage or anything.
It isn’t a proper festival without some serious kebab action.

Downtown Tbilisi,soba-ing it up.
Tbilisi is celebrating the Tbilisoba this weekend, a celebration of all things Tbilisi, or really, all things more generally. Falconry! Trampolining! “Classic” cars”! Dancing ladies! Mimes! Adorable children in national dress! A mysterious “scientific picnic”! Tbilisi is ready and willing to celebrate them all. So long as there’s plenty of communal stomping on grapes. That’s pretty crucial.
